Audition for the MN Saints Chorale & Orchestra – Aug 31

Calling all singers & instrumentalists! Come audition for the Minnesota Saints Chorale & Orchestra 2021-2022 season on Thursday, August 19th or Tuesday August 31st, from 7 to 9PM (New Brighton, MN).

All musicians welcome; you don’t need to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to join.

Vocal & Instrument Needs

We are looking for all singing parts, especially TENORS. The auditioned orchestra has space for trombone, percussion, and all strings, particularly bass and viola. Instrumentalists interested in participating in a semester-long training orchestra should contact us as soon as possible—mention training orchestra in the email.

COVID Precautions

We plan to move forward with rehearsals and concerts and will make adjustments as needed according to any future changes in CDC guidelines. We will offer special masks designed for singing for those interested (encouraged, but not required) and will allow additional space in rehearsal for social distancing. Practice Times & Concert Dates

The choir has mandatory weekly rehearsal on Thursdays 7-9:30PM, January–May. Orchestra rehearses 4-5 weeks before concerts.

We have a Christmas concert planned for December 10th, 2021 and our Lamb of God concert is April 15th, 2022.
